Providing Training and Instruction for the Classroom

I am a Behavior Specialist currently working on a contract basis with School Divisions in Western Canada.
My approach is to provide strategies that will benefit all kids and that any Teacher can implement. My work is cross-cultural, is not diagnosis specific, and involves making creative use of the resources available.
In addition, I provide training and instruction to Educators, Support Staff, Parents, and Partners in the Community as required.

Throughout my career I have had the good fortune to work in a wide variety of positions and those experiences have helped me to better understand the challenges of the educators I work with. I have been employed as a

  • Resource room, Special Education, and Behavior Teacher
  • Elementary and High School Principal
  • Instructor of Elementary, Secondary, and Adult Programs
  • Behavior Consultant at both the District and Provincial level.
  • School Age Parent Program Coordinator
  • Tutor for Elementary, Secondary, and Adult students.
  • System -wide Program Evaluator
